Samsung launches second beta of One UI 4 based on Android 12 for Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3
Samsung has improved dramatically in providing updates to its phones over the past few years. As for Android 12, the Galaxy S21 series was one of the first non-Pixel smartphones to get the stable update in the form of One UI 4.0. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 also got a taste of Android 12 last month thanks to the Korean OEM’s beta initiative. The company has now released a new beta of One UI 4 for Galaxy 2021 foldables, which further refines the overall software experience.
As announcement on the Samsung Community Forums, the second beta of One UI 4.0 has gradually started to be deployed on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 with the firmware version ZUKA. The update ships with the November 2021 Android security patches and is available for US, Indian and Korean models. While the latest release doesn’t introduce massive changes, it does come with several fixes to address bugs and issues reported by beta participants.
If you are on the first beta of One UI 4, you should receive the new update soon. Due to the fact that this is a beta channel update, regular users will not get the update prompt on their phone. If you want to try advanced development without beta registration, you need to download the appropriate OTA packages for your model from our One UI 4.0 update tracker and upload them using the stock recovery environment in it. appropriate order. However, it is strongly recommended that you back up your data before proceeding.
According to Samsung’s One UI 4.0 update roadmap, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Fold 3 are expected to receive the Android 12 stable update in December 2021 (or January 2022) in some regions.
